What could have contributed to the delay ?

My thoughts keep going back to when i read first about the MOSSAD agents in Uganda 1976... 15 minutes, 4 terrorists, one plane. in out.. and done with.... but now ?? Are these some of the reasons ?

hi da loori,

a sense of shock, sadness, anger, irritation, helplessness...it is very rare that i have felt all this at the samt time....

i agree with your points, there has to be more than what is being offered that explains the delay...

I am really scared to ask this question ...will anything change at all?

First of all, I will respond to your email... with the rains here and the work... time has become very scarce :-(. (Maybe its good news too)

No. The only thing that has grown is the TRP rating of news channels and hence their wallets.

Maybe the media industry would not see as many lay-offs any more.

Well,I think lack of equipments is one huge drwaback.I heard that the policemen are still using the guns/pistols of 1950s model which are no match to the AK-47 AND RDX used by the terrorists.I think the security force must be armed with weapons which are more effective than the ones used by Terorists/Naxals/goondas etc.

Regarding MOSSAD,I too thought wish we had a similar strong AGENCY which even managed to locate the plane and catch the hijackers in Uganda,I appreciate Israel in that aspect.
